"Hey Beca. I have a dare for you."
Jesse smiles, knowing that Beca never turns down a dare, because she never likes to lose. He looks down at the girl next to him as he points to a stall a few feet away. ”I dare you to go kiss that girl at the kissing booth.”
"What?! Jesse, no. Are you crazy?"
"But the girl who runs it is Aubrey’s best friend! Maybe if you get to know her, we can go on double dates! Plus, it’s for charity."
"I can get to know her by talking to her, not making out with her.” Beca grumbles as she looks at the girl at the booth, who is sat there on her phone as she waits for someone else to come up to her. Admittedly, she is beautiful, Beca can say that much. But Jesse seems to forget that Beca’s awkward as hell when it comes to interactions with anybody, never mind just waltzing over to this girl and kissing her.
"Fine. I knew you were a chicken." Jesse says, followed by some weird chicken noises.
"Fuck you." Beca just says as she pulls a $5 note out of her pocket and walks over to the booth, waving awkwardly at the girl there.
"Hi!" Chloe smiles as she puts her phone away, standing up and holding her hand out for Beca to shake.
"Hi. So here’s the deal. my friend over there dared me to come up and kiss you, and.. Honestly, I’m not looking to like, ask you out or anything. It’s just a kiss. So like, I have five dollars here, I don’t actually know how much this costs. I think it’s pretty weird if I’m honest. Kinda like prostitution but for charity. I-"
"-You think I’m a prostitute?"
"What-no! No, I didn’t mean that. Fuck, no I didn’t.. I’m sorry. You-"
"Hey." Chloe interrupts Beca’s rambling as she takes the five dollars off of her. "Are you gonna kiss me or not?"
